This Week in Heroes Esports – May 12, 2016
With one DreamHack event concluded and another about to begin, this past week has been filled with anticipation and achievements. The top eight teams in North America competed for the region’s first spot at the Summer Championship during DreamHack Austin, where the eventual winners after a thrilling final were Team Naventic! Meanwhile, the top eight European teams have been gearing up for their turn in the spotlight at this weekend’s DreamHack Tours, where they’ll compete in Europe’s second Summer Regional. Taiwan is looking to wrap up its Regional Qualifier this week, while the May 14 SEA/ANZ Summer Regional is fast approaching! Korea is also feeling the pressure as the battles to survive both Group Stages conclude this week!

Super League Season 2 Group A Concludes!
On Wednesday we said goodbye to the first team in Group A: RAVE HOTS. Though they showed incredible strength in-game, their competitors were able to consistently outdraft them and expose their weak points. In the next match, both Mighty and RoMg had the potential to dominate and, as it turns out, one team did: Mighty! As Wolf and Doa said, RoMg put up a good fight but they played as if they were in Hero League and that lack of team coordination was their downfall. MVP Black and Mighty are now the first two teams moving on to the Playoffs!
